Meet the Chefs

Born and raised in Lebanon, Maria-Elena is a conference interpreter and certified translator who discovered a love of cooking when she was still young. She's received advice and tips from her Italian nonna and her Panamanian abuela about how to cook authentic food and host proper dinner parties. She uses that background to come up with dishes and menus that hit every note.​

Born in Beirut, Tamara has a degree in Engineering from the American University of Beirut, and a passion for making delicious foods. With her attention to detail, her willingness to take on any cooking challenge, and her flair for combining new flavors together, Tamara beautifully blends creativity and tradition in the kitchen.

When the two became friends, they quickly realized that they had a shared passion for food, and that they worked together extremely well in one kitchen. They soon started hosting dinner parties, and those parties expanded until their food was requested by those who'd tasted it. Thus, Rosmarino was born, bringing Tamara and Maria-Elena's flavorful dishes to an even wider audience.
